The Sun is the source of all life forms on earth. It is the eternal source of the everlasting energy for all life/food cycles of living creatures which are interdependent. The planet earth which is a minuscule of the solar system spins in its own axis and rotates around the sun in a fixed orbit on an imaginary axis which is slightly tilted and causes the occurrence of seasons and atmospheric changes which leads to temperature gradients which turn depends on the absorption of the sunlight by the surface of the earth.

mounted on trackers that follow the sun across the sky. Solar PV generates no pollution. The direct conversion of sunlight to electricity occurs without any moving parts. Photovoltaic systems have been used for fifty years in specialized applications, standalone and grid-connected PV systems have been in use for more than twenty years.

The Group Company has installed Pyrano meters in the wind monitoring stations at Pottipadu and Borampalli. These stations are specifically for solar radiance potentials in Vajrakarur and Kalyandurgam belts, the data collected online is represented in the graphical form indicating the solar power density in Watts/ Sq.m on monthly basis for the year 2014 and 2015.
